Fairy Unchained: the Darkness in History
“Through Me Pass into the Painful City,
Through Me Pass into Eternal Grief,
Through Me Pass among the Lost People.
Justine Moved My Master-Builder:
Heavenly Power First Fashioned Me
With Highest Wisdom and with Primal Love.
Before Me Nothing Was Created That
Was Not Eternal, and I Last Eternally.
All Hope Abandon, You Who Enter Here.”
Welcome to Hell i should say! Nothing can be more true, especially today, since we're talking about the Darkness attribute of Vingolf: here comes Dante!
No effects for our “Supreme Poet”, only really good stats ready to be boosted with Star Money.
From Florentine poetry to the far east the distance is abysmal, but let's see what Michizane Sugawara can offer us!
At the cost on just one Darkness Will we can put on field a 200/200 Resonator that makes us gain life points everytime she deals damage... At first look she doesn't really incisive, but she could became devastating on a match economy if we add to Michizane cards like Ragnarok, the Divine Sword of Savior, creating a threatening combo able to increase our life points in an incredible way!
Of totally opposite effect is Edward, the Black Prince
A cost two resonator with 700/700 as stats that everytime enters our field she makes us lose 500 life points. It's surely a high price to pay for having her in our ranks, but her stats makes her a really interesting ally on early turns and on decks that use Grimmia as a J-Ruler it can be really synergic with the overall plan for our plays.
And now we are to the girls i consider today's “stars”, let's start with Nostradamus and her prophecies!
Faithful to her story, everytime Nostradamus enters our field she will allow us to search a card from our main deck and put it on its top... It's a really formidable way to control our draws and she'll be able to give all decks, especially those that makes board control their strategy, always the right answer at the right time, but only to those player that will be able, like Nostradamus, to prophesy the course of the game!
We started out journey with a poet, let's end it with a composer, probably the most famous in History: Mozard!
Our little Mozard seems helpless, frail with her really low stats... But she being so dedicated to a premature death is part of her strength, since every time she leaves the field, our opponent will have to banish a resonator he controls! Surely our little friend will unleash fear on decks that relies on few really strong creatures and will probably be a lot less useful against big opposing swarms. To her help from the past comes Cinderella: the combinations of those two Resonators can be really lethal for the opposing field!
We travelled the “dark” times of history, who knows where our journey will take us next time, see you soon!!
